Phil Tuning

In his last assignment with John Deere, he served as President of John Deere Financial Canada. During his career with John Deere, he served in roles ranging from being part of a business startup team, marketing, credit operations, customer management, public affairs, data management, and business unit leadership in Thailand and Canada. As a result of his assignments, he learned to accelerate role transitions successfully and quickly assess and engage teams. Phil has public sector experience, working in economic development in city and state government organizations.

He has served as an adjunct instructor for strategy and leadership in William & Mary’s Online MBA program in Williamsburg, VA.   Phil has served on numerous boards of directors for nonprofit organizations and had a gubernatorial appointment to Iowa’ Workforce Development Board. He currently serves on William & Mary’s Business School Foundation Board Phil holds an MBA, and a B.S. in finance. He also holds the ACC credential through the International Coaching Federation.
