Kevin Kacere received his BA and MBA from the University of Iowa Business School. He was President and CEO of Insta-Pro International, a feed and food processing equipment manufacturer from 2008-2021. In 2017 Insta-Pro was named Small Business of The Year for Central Iowa.
Prior to this, he worked in various marketing and general management roles for manufacturing companies. His longest tenure was in the home appliance industry working for Amana Appliances and Maytag Corporation for 17 years. His last role at Maytag was VP and GM of the Amana Business Unit. Additional roles at Maytag were VP Product Development and Design, and VP Refrigeration Business. During this time, he led the turnaround of the Company’s refrigerator segment, driving innovation impacting the entire home appliance industry.
In 2018, Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross appointed Kacere to the President’s Advisory Council for Doing Business in Africa where he advised the federal government on improving business opportunities in Africa for U.S. companies. He on the Board of Directors for the Rotary Club of Des Moines, Goodwill of Central Iowa, and the Foundations for the Rotary Club and his Church. He is a past member of the University of Iowa Marketing Advisory Council.
