Fort Dodge City Council is considering demolishing its Crossroads Mall in favor of an open-air plaza that incorporates apartments, bars, restaurants, and entertainment. Matthew Mitchell says that quick moves like these are necessary in order to survive.
"Lower end malls are getting out-competed by the internet and Walmart," Mitchell said.
